How It Works

How It Works

From a document upload to a court-approved outcome. Here is the PleaJudge AI hearing workflow.

1

Prosecutor Uploads and Edits the Relevant Documents

Charging documents, discovery, plea offers and plea agreements are submitted through the Prosecutor Upload Portal. The Prosecutor edits and saves the documents within the Portal, providing the system everything it needs to generate the AI avatar judge.

2

Defense Attorney Review

Defense attorneys remotely review the documents, plea offers and plea agreements and sign off before anything moves forward. Defendants cannot access their documents unless and until defense counsel approves. Defense attorneys receive discovery and plea offers, and can extend counter offers through the system.

3

AI Judge Avatar Conducts Hearings

The AI Judge Avatar conducts the first appearance, arraignment, bond and conditions of release, or plea hearing, with voice recognition capturing every response on the record in real time.

4

Bond, Conditions of Release and Appointment of Counsel

The bond scoring algorithm generates a transparent, auditable recommendation for conditions of release and cases requiring appointment of counsel are automatically screened and routed to the appointment list. The system appoints counsel and ensures all users have counsel going forward.

Judicial Approval

A human judge reviews the outcomes in the Judge Portal and gives the final approval, keeping human judgment at the center of every case.

Auditable Records

Every step the user takes (signatures, waivers, approvals, notices) is logged in a real time audit trail and stored securely, so the full case history is ready for review at any time.
